Family of Walter Turnbull (2) & Janet Roy

7. Isobel Turnbull. Born in 1799 in Bonhill. Isobel died in Nr Roodhouse Greene County Ill. USA in 1878, she was 79.

In 1822 when Isobel was 23, she married James Mathew Rough, in Dunipace Stirling.

They had the following children:

		i.	David M.
		ii.	Mathew.
		iii.	Margaret.
		iv.	Mathew.
		v.	Walter.
		vi.	Janet.

8. Walter Roy Turnbull. Born on 28th December 1806 in Bonhill. Walter Roy died in Neilston Barrhead on 31st December 1856, he was 50. Buried in United Presbyterian High Church, Barrhead, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Occupation: Plaid printer/Calico Printer.

On 1st December1831 when Walter Roy was 24, he married Helen Simpson, in Dunipace Stirling. Born on 19th June 1815 in Bothkennar Stirlingshire. Helen died in Barrhead Renfrewshire on 5th December 1886, she was 71.

They had the following children:

	18	iii.	Margaret Simpson (1837-1908)
	19	iv.	Mary Ann (1839-)
		v.	Adam Simpson. Born on 20th June 1841 in Mearns, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Occupation: Tailor. On 9th February 1866 when Adam Simpson was 24, he married Catherine McIntosh, in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
