Family of William Turnbull (5) & Agnes Gardner

12. Matthew Turnbull. Born on 2nd November 1806 in Cardross. Matthew died in Renton Church Burial Ground on 13th November 1891, he was 85.

On 9th August 1828 when Matthew was 21, he married Ann Anderson, daughter of James Anderson & Mary Reid, in Cardross. Born on 11th August 1809 in Dunlop Ayrshire. Ann died in Renton Church Burial Ground on 11th January 1859, she was 49.

They had the following children:
i. William. Born on 2nd February 1830 in Renton. William died in Renton on 10th January 1852, he was 21.
ii. Ann. Born on 7th May 1832 in Renton.
iii. James. Born on 3rd February 1835 in Renton. James died in Renton Parish Churchyard on 30th August 1866, he was 31.
iv. Agnes. Born on 19th December 1837 in Renton.
v. Robert Anderson. Born on 9th February 1840 in Renton. Robert Anderson died in 1 1922, he was 81.
vi. Mary. Born on 5th September 1842 in Renton. Mary died in Kilmacolm on 28th June 1915, she was 72.
vii. Elizabeth. Born on 6th April 1845 in Renton.
