Family of David Turnbull (6) & Elizabeth Buchannan

13. Matthew Turnbull. Born on 13th December 1817 in Kilbarchan. Matthew died bef 1852, he was 34. Occupation: Block Printer.

On 18th June 1841 when Matthew was 23, he married Rebecca Mathie, daughter of Robert Mathie & Rebecca Hart, in Rutherglen. Born on 15th April 1819 in Glasgow.

They had the following children:

	i.	David. Born in 1843.
	ii.	Rebecca. Born in 1844.
	iii.	Elizabeth Buchanan. Born in 1846/44. On 23rd September 1864 when Elizabeth Buchanan was 18, she married Donald Hamilton, son of John Hamilton & Margaret McKean, in 14 Abbotsford Place Bridgeton. Born abt 1843.
	iv.	Robert Mathie. Born on 1st June 1848 in Finnieston Glasgow. Robert Mathie died bef 1851, he was 2.

14. Archibald Turnbull. Born on 4th January 1820 in Kilbarchan. Archibald died bef 1892, he was 71. Occupation: Station Master Dalmuir Railway Station.

On 25th September 1860 when Archibald was 40, he married Mary McDougall, daughter of Dougald McDougal & Grace Brown, in Silvergrove Street Bridgeton. Born on 26th September 1830 in Gorbals. Mary died in Lanark on 27th January 1904, she was 73.

They had one child:

David Alexander (1861-1931)

15. Alexander Turnbull. Born on 29th May 1830 in Kelvin Dock/Gorbals. Alexander died in 16 Wenham Street West Derby on 29th June 1903, he was 73.

In 6 1854 when Alexander was 24, he married Laura Ferrier, in Glasgow. Born abt 1833 in Dublin Ireland. Laura died in 6 Thorburn Street West Derby on 23rd February 1895, she was 62.

They had the following children:

	i.	Virginia Laurie. Born on 11th November 1855 in 21 Greenhead Street Bridgeton.
	ii.	Laura. Born abt 1856 in Glasgow.
	iii.	Alfred. Born on 7th August 1857 in Gorons Lane Nairn.
	iv.	Henry. Born on 14th January 1860 in 24 Thistle Street Glasgow.

	vi.	Alexander. Born on 31st October 1864 in 62 Florence Street Hutchesontown Glasgow.
30	vii.	Caroline (~1867-)
	viii.	Isabella. Born abt 1870 in England.
