Family of Robert Turnbull (35) & Agnes Gibson

40. William Riddell Turnbull. Born on 22nd June 1909 in 16 Savoy Street Bridgeton. William Riddell died in Glasgow Royal Infirmary on 28th August 2001, he was 92. Occupation: Railway Carriage Cleaner.

On 30th October 1931 when William Riddell was 22, he married Agnes Dunlop Espie, daughter of Alexander Strathdee Espie & Sarah McComish, in Hood Memorial Church Glasgow. Born abt 1907. Agnes Dunlop died in Belvidere Hospital Glasgow on 25th November 1988, she was 81.

They had the following children:
i. Robert.
ii. Alexander.

41. Robert Turnbull. Born on 22nd March 1912 in 6 Savoy St Glasgow. Robert died in Victoria Infirmary Glasgow on 1st August 2003, he was 91. Occupation: Railway Porter.

On 21st June 1935 when Robert was 23, he married Georgina Reid Green, daughter of John Green & Jessie Stirling Ried, in 30 County Avenue Eastfield Rutherglen. Born abt 1911. Georgina Reid died abt 1966, she was 55.

They had the following children:
i. Robert.
ii. George.

42. Annie Gibson Turnbull. Born on 6th November 1919 in 6 Savoy St Glasgow. Annie Gibson died in 34 Burns Drive Kikintilloch on 26th October 1976, she was 56. Occupation: Basket Maker.

On 13th October 1941 when Annie Gibson was 21, she married William Joseph Johnston, son of Joseph Johnston & Catherine McMinn, in Bridgeton Parish Church Glasgow. Born abt 1918. William Joseph died in Belvidere Hospital Glasgow on 20th October 1970, he was 52.

They had the following children:
i. Agnes.
ii. William.

43. James Gibson Turnbull. Born on 25th Sept 1921 in 6 Savoy St Glasgow. James Gibson died in 93 Main St Glasgow on 28th March 2000, he was 78. Buried in Daldowie Crem.Mount Vernon. Occupation: Engineer's Machineman. Education: Rumford St Primary/John St Secondary Schools. Religion: Protestant.

On 31st October 1952 when James Gibson was 31, he married Mary Trotter Burns, daughter of Henry Burns & Margaret Forbes, in Hood Memorial Congregational Church Glasgow. Born on 11th June 1921 in 71 Dale St Glasgow. Mary Trotter died in 81 Reid St Glasgow on 21st June 1988, she was 67.

They had the following children:

ii. Harry Burns. Born on 1st June 1956 in 81 Reid St Glasgow. Occupation: Test Engineer/ Design Draughtsman. Education: Strathclyde Primary,John St Secondary School. Religion: Protestant.

On 20th September 1980 when Harry Burns was 24, he married Mary Angela Carmichael, daughter of Robert Carmichael & Maud Vernon, in High Carantyne Church Glasgow. Born on 19th March 1958.
