Family of James Burns (2) & Jean/Jane Currie

3. Hugh Burns. Born in 1850 in Glasgow. Hugh died in Barnhill Poorhouse on 31st May 1887, he was 37. Occupation: Power Loom Beamer 1881 Census.

On 4th March 1869 when Hugh was 19, he married Margaret McPhilamy, daughter of James McPhilamy & Sarah Macareavy, in Dennistoun Glasgow. Born in 1849 in Dalry. Margaret died in 71 Dale Street on 21st February 1924 6.40 am, she was 75.

They had the following children:

		i.	James. Born on 11th January 1870 in 17 Reid Street Bridgeton Glasgow. James died in 9 Reid Street Bridgeton Glasgow on 23rd June 1875, he was 5.

	5	iii.	William John (1875-1922)
	6	iv.	James (1877-1960)
	7	v.	Noble Currie (1880-1951)
		vi.	Archie Semple. Born on 9th June 1884 in 39 Rumford Street Glasgow. Archie Semple died in Eastpark Home Maryhill Glasgow on 30th June 1893 5:45 am, he was 9.
