On 29th May 1863 when Alexander was 21, he married Agnes Lindsay, daughter of William Lindsay & Christina Scott, in Sorn. Born abt 1845. Agnes died in New Crookston on 17th April 1929 0.30am, she was 84.

10. Agnes Gibson. Born on 12th December 1843 in Mauchline. Agnes died in Dollarshill Riccarton on 22nd February 1926, she was 82.
On 31st May 1872 when Agnes was 28, she married James Lindsay, in Lochhill Mauchline. Born abt 1840.
They had one child:

11. Mary Gibson. Born in 1851 in Mauchline. Mary died in Auchinleck on 11th July 1934, she was 83. Occupation: Servant.
On 26th May 1871 when Mary was 20, she married William Stevenson, in Mauchline. William died bef 1934.
