Family of John Collins (6) & Elizabeth Sharp

7. Lancelot Collins. Born on 26th August 1877 at 11am in 9 Milton Row Motherwell. Lancelot died in 48 Second Avenue Newcraighall Edinburgh on 25th May 1943 at 4am, he was 65. Occupation: Coal Miner.

On 23rd March 1900 when Lancelot was 22, he married Elizabeth Clyde, daughter of Thomas Clyde & Mary Ross, in 44 Muirpark Cottages Bellshill. Born in 1882. Elizabeth died in Whitehill Street Newington on 20th March 1957, she was 75.

They had the following children:
9 i. Thomas Clyde (1901-1961)
ii. Lancelot. Born on 7th May 1905 in 42 Calder Street Blantyre. Lancelot died in 34 Main Avenue Newcraighall Edinburgh on 1st April 1907, he was 1.
iii. Robert. Born on 16th December 1918 in 4 Second Avenue Newcraighall.
iv. Ann Jane. Born on 16th November 1921 in 4 Second Avenue Newcraighall.
v. Janet Sharp. Born on 26th February 1925 in 4 Second Avenue Newcraighall.

8. John Collins. Born on 12th June 1895 12noon in 28 Eddlewood Rows Hamilton. John died in Stobhill Hospital Glasgow on 19th December 1972, he was 77. Occupation: Hammerman.

On 30th December 1919 when John was 24, he first married Jeanie McMillan McBride, daughter of Henry McBride & Annie Jones, in Howard Street Glasgow. Born on 1st May 1893 in 20 Regent Place Shawlands Glasgow. Jeanie McMillan died in 15 Bedlay Street Glasgow on 21st January 1935 8.45pm, she was 41.

They had the following children:

12 iii. David Sinclair (1926-1993)
13 iv. Randolph McMillan Sharp (1930-)
v. Annie Jones. Born on 21st August 1931 in 15 Bedlay Street Glasgow.

On 1st March 1952 when Annie Jones was 20, she married Robert Beattie Bain, in Johnston Church Glasgow. Born abt 1929.

On 20th February 1945 when John was 49, he second married Jeanie Liddel Wilkie or Maitland, in 8 Clayton Terrace Glasgow.
